Top Reasons to NOT Choose M Global Services
Why M Global Services Might NOT be a Good Fit For You
Top 3 Reasons to NOT Choose M Global Services for your Hardware Support
Wait! What?! Why would you tell me reasons not to choose M Global?
At M Global, we are committed to providing real and valuable information, not just content injected with salesy bull$&*!. We want our clients to know and understand their options so that they can make an educated decision on whether M Global will be a good fit for them.
So here are the top 3 reasons you may want to stick with OEM support instead of choosing M Global Services…
Third party maintenance hardware support might not be a good fit for you if… you feel you need the latest versions and patches for software.
If you always need the latest version of operating systems and other updates, it may be in your best interest to continue with OEM support because oftentimes those updates are only offered through the OEM. Also, when there are major issues and bugs in the software, the OEM will release patches and fixes. While there may be times and situations where a TPM provider may be able to help with software related issues, there is no guarantee that they will be able to take care of them.
Third party maintenance support might not be a good fit for you if… you are constantly upgrading to new equipment.
If your company is continually refreshing its hardware to brand-new equipment, service through a TPM provider may not be the clear choice for you. Often new equipment will come with 1-3 years of support from the manufacturer. Another factor to consider is that with brand-new equipment there often hasn’t been enough time to see what issues might happen and engineers may not have experience working with the latest models. At times, it can be more difficult for TPM providers to source parts for the newest equipment.
Third party maintenance support might not be a good fit for you if… you are more comfortable receiving support through the manufacturer.
Some people just feel more comfortable being able to escalate very challenging issues through the OEMs channel rather than an independent company that didn't manufacture the equipment.
There are times when it makes more sense to stick with the support you are receiving through an OEM. Don’t worry, that won’t hurt our feelings. Just know that if anything changes for you and you want to try something new, give us a call!
